Child Protection Policy

 

Code of Practice and Procedures

 

In conjunction with M.S.A. Policy Statement on Child Protection:-

·        The child’s welfare is paramount

·        All children whatever their age, culture, disability, gender, language, racial origin, religious belief and/or sexual identity, have the right to protection from abuse

·        All suspicions and allegations of inappropriate behaviour will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.

·        As defined in the Children Act 1989 anyone under the age of 18 years should be considered as a child for the purpose of this document.

 

This is the Child Protection Policy Statement for Cramlington and District Motor Club:-

 

Cramlington & District Motor Club takes Child Protection very seriously and will take action over any reports of:-

 

  • Misuse of alcohol or illegal substances
  • Verbal or physical abuse
  • Lewd behaviour i.e. behaviour of a sexual nature

in the presence of children.

 

Any concerns raised will be referred to the Committee of the Organizing Club and appropriate action taken.

 

Depending on the nature and severity of any such incident please note, external authorities may need to be informed.
